Introduction
The IMDA Infocomm & Multimedia Club is a platform for students to explore and develop skills in information technology, digital media, and creative design. Through hands-on experiences, members gain practical knowledge in areas such as programming, multimedia production, and emerging technologies, equipping them with skills relevant to the digital future.
Objectives
• To nurture students’ interest in ICT, coding, and multimedia design.
• To provide opportunities for students to learn and apply skills in real-world contexts.
• To develop problem-solving, teamwork, and leadership through tech-based projects.
• To empower students to become responsible and discerning digital citizens.
Key Programmes & Activities
Infocomm Focus:
• Coding and programming (e.g., Python, HTML/CSS, Scratch coding)
• Cybersecurity awareness and digital literacy workshops
• Participation in competitions like N.Emation, Our Schools Our Stories and many more.
Multimedia Focus:
• Photography and videography
• Graphic design and photo editing (e.g., Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom)
• Video production and editing for school events
• Audio and sound engineering for school performances
Integrated Activities:
• School event coverage (e.g., concerts, National Day, Speech Day)
• AI, AR/VR and emerging tech exploration sessions
Skills Students Will Gain
• Technical skills: coding, multimedia editing, digital content creation.
• Soft skills: teamwork, project management, creative problem-solving.
• Exposure to tech industry trends through workshops and learning journeys.
CCA Schedule
• Day/Time: Every Friday, 2.30pm to 5.30pm
• Venue: Computer labs 1, 2 and 4
